![]() About Us SYKES presence in Latin America started at Costa Rica in September 1999, when the Corporation acquired Acer Information Services, becoming the first company in the Contact Center’s field in the country. In 2007 SYKES took the Leadership again and decided to open the door of its own training center, oriented and focused on the English language to ensure the best quality in the Customer Service. At least 300 graduates from this academy have a job currently with the company. Currently SYKES Costa Rica has 2.800 employees (facilities at Global Park, La Aurora, Heredia) and in September 2008 it expanded its operations to Moravia, where the projection is to enlarge the working force with 500 additional collaborators.
